H1Z1: King of the Hill will be adding a brand new Ignition Mode, developer Daybreak Entertainment announced today. The new mode resembles Battle Royale the most, but it comes with its own unique twist- Ignition starts each challenger off with their very own ATV and a pack of explosives strapped to their body. Players get a limited amount of time to scavenge weapons and supplies, and then make a beeline for a Safe Zone, because those that don’t will find their devices triggered, knocking them out of the match.

To keep things exciting, Safe Areas decrease in number and size, and change locations around the map- the time allowed for players to reach a safe zone also is reduced, meaning the match gets more and more frenetic the farther into it you go.

H1Z1: King of the Hill is available now for Windows PCs via Steam Early Access. It will be getting an official release on PC later in the year. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information. Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think in the comments section.
