Developer Supergiant Games’ Hades has been nominated as the Game of the Year during Game Developers Choice awards. The ceremony takes place during the annual GDC conference, and a number of games such as Phasmophobia received prestigious accolades. Check out the full ceremony down below.

In addition to being labelled as the Game of the Year, Hades also bagged the Best Design and Best Audio. This is certainly high praise, given it shared the stage with games like The Last of Us Part 2, which now has the highest number of accolades to its name that a game has ever had.

Ghost of Tsushima also bagged two awards – the Audience Award and Best Visual Art. Laralyn McWilliams was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award, while Tom Fulp received the Pioneer Award. The latter is the figure behind the once incredibly popular Newgrounds platform, while the former served as an influential figure on MMOs like Free Realms.
