Halo 3: ODST: What is the big fuss about?

Halo. A franchise that single handedly saved the original Xbox from the blemishes. Halo 2 did the same. And in 2007 Halo 3 became one of the best selling games of the season . It sold over 10 million games worldwide. Now having said that the fans were expecting a full blown sequel in 2009. However Halo 3: ODST came out and now some of the people out there are making a huge fuss about it.

What is my Fault?

I mean common guys! This is just a game. And in no way should affect how people are treated. I visit many of the big gaming websites and in the forums I see people bashing the game. Its like ridiculous. I mean people fighting over something which they don’t have any control over is just plan ridiculous for me. Halo is a great franchise. Forget about people saying that its over rated or if it is over hyped. The bottom line is by raising arguments over Halo 3: ODST , we ourselves are over hyping a game. This in turn increases the peoples expectations. And when the game doesn’t succeed than some say “Meh! That was Galo! Not Halo”.

I am a lot of fun, so why all the hate?

I guess people just need to sit down and forget about the Halo hate and in fact for any game in a broader sense. You like a game you buy it. If you don’t like a game you don’t buy it. Its that simple as that. Seeing how some of the people on the community and the forums have been going ” Wow Halo 3: ODST sucks ” , “KZ2 owned Halo 3: ODST”, really makes me feel that these people think that by doing such a thing they will get paid or something.

Guys , Halo fans and Halo haters just need to sit down and play their respective consoles. For PS3 peeps, you have a monster in Killzone 2.
