Halo 5: Guardians is almost here – it launches on October 27 – but if you are finding the wait hard, here are over 70 brand new direct feed screenshots from the campaign of the game courtesy of Somos Xbox. Be warned, there are spoilers within these screenshots for Missions 1, 2, 3, and 8. If you do not wish to have even the slightest inkling of what will happen in the game’s story, we advise you to hit the Back button on your browser right about now.

The game looks pretty awesome- it’s no technical masterpiece, but the artstyle definitely stands out, and seems to recall classic Halo, from the Bungie days, far more than Halo 4 ever did. Also, the facial capture technology on display in these screens seems to be unreal.
