Ever the amiable and reliable fountain of information, Studio Head for Halo 5: Guardians Josh Holmes has been on Twitter again, briefly discussing Halo 5 with a lucky few who have put questions to him. One Twitter user asked, “will halo 5 feature any collectables like skulls or terminals?” to which Mr Holmes answered, “Seems like a reasonable assumption. ;)” I think you can call that more or less confirmed.

And despite hyping the game and running the excellent Hunt the Truth advertising campaign, it would appear as though the game isn’t as far along as many would have hoped. Once again another Twitter using asked, “Is Halo 5: Guardians certified gold yet? Is the dev team close to completion?” Mr Holmes’ response was, “Still a long way to go at this point.”

A little disheartening for fans of the series I’m sure. But who knows, maybe they will use the extra time to turn Locke into a likeable character, a man can dream right? Halo 5 Guardians launches on October 27th exclusively for the Xbox One.
