Hellblade Runs At Increased Resolution Or 60FPS on PS4 Pro; 4K and Uncapped Framerate For PC Version

Hellblade will leverage more powerful hardware.

Ninja Theory’s Hellblade is almost here- and it will be the standard bearer, Ninja Theory hopes, for the ‘indie AAA’ game. And, living up to the ‘AAA’ part of its name, it sounds like Hellblade will be supporting the PS4 Pro in a big way- when played on that system, it sounds like the game will either run in 60FPS, or in an increased resolution.

But what PS4 Pro owners get will be nothing compared to what PC players will get- ultrawide 21:9 screen and resolutions support, 4K resolution support, and uncapped framerate. It sounds like the PC version of the game will conclusively be the definitive version.

All of this aside, we also got a brand new trailer for the game, which you can see for yourself below. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will follow the story of a woman trying to overcome her psychological demons- it launches on August 8 for PS4 and PC, for $30.
