Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Launches On The Switch This Spring

And it looks relatively graphically on par with the other versions, too.

Ninja Theory’s award winning action game, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, has been announced for the Nintendo Switch in today’s Nintendo Direct. The action adventure game, which uses imagery from Celtic mythology, and simultaneously delves into psychological themes and mental sickness, launched originally on PC and PS4, before coming to the Xbox One last year.

Following Microsoft’s acquisition of Ninja Theory, it would have been easy to assume that it won’t be coming to any further non-Microsoft systems, but it looks like Microsoft has no trouble sharing that love with Nintendo’s Switch, where indie games (which Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice originally was) have found great success.

The good news is that it looks graphically incredible on the Switch as well. The trailer showed footage that seemed barely downgraded from the Xbox One or PS4 versions, so it seems like there is some technical wizardry afoot here. This will definitely go down as one of the better looking Switch games. You can watch the trailer below- the video’s been timestamped.
