Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice New Development Diary Reveals The Game’s Voice Cast

What is likely to be a very important part of this game's experience has been revealed.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has been a long time coming, and if we are lucky, we will see it later this year, at last. We keep getting persistent updates on the development of the game, mostly by way of development diaries, including this new one, which debuts, at last, the game’s voice cast. This was always going to be very important, because the game’s heroine Senua suffers from mental illness, and her story is told through the visions and voices in her head- so getting this part of the game right was paramount.

“I never gave up hope that we can find a way to actually visibly see the characters instead of just hearing their voices,” said Ninja Theory’s Chief Creative Ninja Tameem Antoniades. “So, when it came to casting, I cast for their face and what they looked like as well as their voices.”

The voice cast is copied for you below, as is the developer diary itself, so you can watch it for yourself. Hellblade is due out on PS4 and PC.

  • Steven Hartley – Zynbel (Senua’s druid father)
  • Oliver Walker – Dillion (Senua’s lover)
  • Ellie Piercy – Galena (Senua’s mother)
  • Chipo Chung – Narrator
  • Melina Juergens – Senua
  • Nicholos Boulton – Drouth (Senua’s friend)
