Here’s Our First Look At The Resident Evil Remaster In Motion

Suitably dark.

The Resident Evil HD remaster, which essentially touches up the exceptional remake of the first Resident Evil game on the Gamecube, may have been announced a while back, but we haven’t actually gotten to see a whole lot of it. Well, that’s a lie, we got a boatload of screenshots, but for a video game, seeing it in motion is always much, much better than just seeing screens, right?

Well, we got the first footage of the game at Sony’s pre-TGS show yesterday, and here it is for you to see. Thankfully, the original game in this case (i.e. the remake) was just such a good looking game to begin with (aided, I suspect, by the strength of the art style) that the touch ups work wonderfully to make it look pretty modern.

It would never be mistaken for a native PS4 game, but, for example, it could look like an early generation Xbox 360 or PS3 game easily.
