This is a real game, and it's on Kickstarter.

Well, that’s one idea for a game, I guess. This is the reason I love indie games and Kickstarter stuff- in Dawn of the Devs, you take control of famous game developers such as Cliff Bleszinski (of Gears of War fame), Tim Schafer (Grim Fandango), and Hideo Kojima (mastermind behind the Metal Gear series), and try to save the world of gaming after they are drawn into an alternate variant of it where every negative aspect of the gaming industry has come to life. Really, that’s an actual thing. That is what this game is.

Don’t believe me? Check the game’s Kickstarter page for yourself, then. Each of the three developers will have his own unique abilities, which you’ll need to use together as you journey through the distorted gaming world’s twisted lands, defeating enemies and solving puzzles to “rid the World of Gaming from the menace that has risen and threatens to destroy the game industry forever.”

Also, there is a trailer. Check it out below.
