The wait for Hogwarts Legacy has been a long one, but the open world action RPG is finally approaching its long-awaited launch date. Due out in February (on some platforms, at least), the game’s launch is not far away now, and ahead of its approaching release, it has hit a major development milestone.
WB Games has announced that Hogwarts Legacy will be launching later than expected on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, though its release on current-gen consoles and PC is still going ahead as previously planned.
In fact, taking to Twitter, developer Avalanche Software made the announcement that the game has gone gold on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, which means principal development has wrapped up, with the development team now focused on polish and bug fixes, which will be delivered through pre-launch and day one updates.
Hogwarts Legacy launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on February 10, 2023, followed by the PS4 and Xbox One versions on April 4, and the Nintendo Switch version on July 25. A new gameplay showcase is set for tomorrow, so stay tuned for that.

That said, we're excited to announce the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions have gone gold! https://t.co/pForKRZl9p
