Hogwarts Legacy

Developer Avalanche Software recently confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy would be getting its first major patch soon, bringing with it fixes for several bugs, performance issues, and technical issues in the game. That patch is out now, and its full update notes have been released by the developer.

Various crashes, visual bugs, UI issues, save game issues, and cutscene glitches have been addressed with the open world action RPG’s new patch, which also brings several performance and stability related improvements and platform-specific fixes.

As previously confirmed by the developer, the patch is currently available only on Xbox Series X/S and PC, with a PS5 release delayed until later in the week due to unspecific technical issues. On PS5, the update will also make fixes to bugs preventing certain Trophy unlocks.

Hogwarts Legacy is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It launches for PS4 and Xbox One on April 4, and for the Nintendo Switch on July 25. Read our review of the game through here.
