Hollow Knight Silksong

It’s been almost two years since Team Cherry announced that Hollow Knight: Silksongwhich was originally announced as a paid DLC for the first game, was being expanded into a proper full-fledged sequel. Details on the game have been scant since then, with the last major update having come over a year ago. Anticipation for the sequel has been high, but thankfully, new details on it will be revealed very soon.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is going to be on the cover of next month’s issue of EDGE. Editor Jen Simpkins revealed on Twitter that the story will include not only new artwork, but also plenty of new details courtesy of “hours of interviews” with the developers, who also showed off new screenshots and a new demo.

It remains to be seen whether a release date will be shared as part of this story (it seems unlikely), but we can, at the very least, prepare for some meaty new gameplay details. Stay tuned for those as they arrive.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is currently in development for PC, Mac, Linux, and Nintendo Switch.
