Hyper Light Drifter Coming to Nintendo Switch

Another indie game joining the list of Switch titles.

In keeping with the trend of just about every single beloved and major indie game there is coming to the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo has confirmed that the hugely popular action RPG Hyper Light Drifter will be coming to their hybrid console. Hyper Light Drifter was originally announced for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Wii U; however, the latter did not support Game Maker, which led to issues with the porting process.

The Switch also did not support Game Maker until recently- however, with that having changed now, it looks like Hyper Light Drifter will finally be making the jump. The game’s gorgeous pixel art and challenging an satisfying gameplay should find it a new home on the Switch, where audiences have taken to games of its ilk like nothing else.

That said, if you would rather not wait for the Switch version, you can always just go out and buy the game for yourself right now- it’s available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PCs (running Windows, Mac, and Linux).
