shin megami tensei x fire emblem

Nintendo and Atlus’ upcoming Wii U exclusive role playing game, Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem (which has the name Genei Ibun Roku ♯FE in Japan, at the very least) has just received a couple of brand new videos, highlighting, ostensibly, the game’s story, its heroes, and ‘Mirages’ (which function like Persona summons). I say ostensibly because after watching all of them, I still have no freaking clue what it is that I just saw. All I know is that it was an explosion of color, high pitched voices, and some annoyingly catchy music. If I had synthesia, I would be so pissed and overwhelmed right now.

Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem releases in Japan on December 26 this year, exclusively for the Wii U. A release for the west is due to follow some time next year, alongside the announcement of presumably whatever its final name will be announced to be.
