In The Eye of ZombiU – Ubisoft releases yet another developer diary

Gameplay mechanics explained.

Posted By | On 22nd, Nov. 2012

Ubisoft have released a brand new developer diary for ZombiU. This time the focus is gameplay mechanics found in the game. In the video the developers explain how to use the Wii U Gamepad to take out zombies, something which we are already aware of for the past few months. Plus they also show how the Gamepad can be used to scan the area to find key-points in the mission, manage your inventory, taking out an enemy using the sniper rifle and how you can use your survival kit to craft your weapons and read important documents.

The game also shares some gameplay mechanics from Demon Souls wherein you can leave messages for the community by using a spray can. Other players can see this message by using the scanner and hence making them aware of the dangers ahead. It will be interesting to see how this idea works and how different it will be from Demon Souls.

The game has received mix reviews from several publications. GamingBolt’s review will go live few days after launch.

Are you planning to pick up the game along with the Wii U? Let us know in the comments section below.
