In This Video, Major Nelson Gives Us Xbox One Tips and Tricks

Now you can become an Xbox One power user.

Major Nelson takes us through some of the Xbox One’s smaller features in this video, which should make navigating the system and its labyrinthine options slightly easier than it allegedly is right now.

He takes us through tips and tricks, such as the many uses of the menu button, organizing download queues (although why the Xbox One cannot download multiple files and apps at once, while the PS4 can, is beyond me), usage of the Kinect, pinning and unpinning games and apps, and more. The Xbox One UI, and I have said this before, has potential to be very, very impressive, but Microsoft can’t take a one size fit all approach to UI and port the same front end to all devices- it’s the reason Windows 8 was met with so much resistance.

Do you already have an Xbox One? Did you know of any of the tips that Major Nelson highlights?
