The Legend of Zelda the Ocarina of Time was astounding game by every measure, and the plot was equally awesome. The main shocker came when everyone least expected it. When Zelda  encounters Sheik, she has no idea that the dude is her  from the future. However Sheik’s true gender was the subject of debate to many.  However, according to Bill Trinen of Nintendo of America, Sheik is female.
