Shadow of Colossus
Shadow of Colossus is arguably one of the best games ever to grace the gaming industry, but it’s also one of those games which has quite an interesting story. it’s hinted at in the beginning that the main character may or may not survive the ritual to revive his female companion, but that doesn’t stop him. We come to realize in the game that, Dormin was split into 16 pieces and sealed within the 16 colossi, and by slaying them all, Wander has unknowingly released Dormin’s full power and is eventually consumed and possessed by Dormin. It’s heartbreaking, beautiful and totally unforgettable.
