It Takes 31 Minutes To Travel From One End To Another In Xenoblade X’s Open World

We knew the world was massive, but just HOW massive?

We already know that the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles X is  staggeringly massive. The game offers players a full, seamless open world, and allows them to travel from one end to another with no loading screens. But just how massive is this game world? Stupidly so, according to Kotaku’s Richard Eisenbels, who decided to travel from one end to another in his Japanese copy. It took him 31 minutes to do so.

That’s ridiculously large, and he notes that the trip was ‘scenic’ (which is probably owing to the game’s pretty and gorgeous environments, as well as its technical mastery in rendering and streaming its world simultaneously with no user end stress). He does point out that this may not be the shortest route between the start and the end points, though he noted that it is the fastest route he knows of, personally.

Xenoblade Chronicles X launched in Japan in April. The Wii U exclusive launches in the west later this year (a release date is anticipated at E3 this year). Stay tuned to GamingBolt.
