Jailed Arma 3 devs write a touching letter from prison

They have written a letter from prison after 81 days of being there.

Ivan and Martin who were working on Arma 3 and had been sent to Greece to capture a bunch of photos soon realised the mistake they were about to make. It was illegal for foreigners to capture photos of Greece military bases. In fact, it should be illegal in any country, but considering these guys probably were innocent, it sucks to see them in prison.

They have written a letter from prison after 81 days of being there, and we have the full letter for you which you can check out below.

There was a protest near the Greek embassy in Prague by 150 odd people, and more supporters are joining the cause. In case you want to help them, head over to their site over here, which was set up by Bohemia Interactive developers.

“After tiring two months it is important for us to hear (well, read) words of encouragement and to learn we are not forgotten. We are treated well, but we feel we should rather be with our families than here,” the letter reads.

“Your effort makes it easier to handle: we enjoy the postcards, community news, pictures and puzzles which are being regularly send by this website’s magnificent staff, It seem that it will take some time before we could return home and there is certainly much to overcome.”
