The latest entry in the long running King of Fighters series of fighting games – King of Fighters 14 – is due to come out exclusively on the PlayStation 4. The game marks a shift from the 2D style of fighting that the games have been known for into 3D fighting, which is causing equal parts trepidation and excitement among the fanbase.

If you fall into the latter group, then maybe you’ve been waiting for more new information on the game- so today’s new media blowout will probably be right up your alley then. A new trailer for the game, which you can see for yourself below, showed off more gameplay footage, also revealing three brand new characters – K, Benimaru Nikaido and Robert Garcia – in the process. You can check out a screenshot gallery showcasing all three of them below as well.

King of Fighters 14 is due out on the PlayStation 4 exclusively some time later this year. A western release hasn’t yet been confirmed, but it’s all but a given at this point.
