Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an upcoming role-playing video game that is under development at Warhorse Studios. The game will be released across multiple platforms including the Xbox One. Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been primarily developed for the PC so all other versions will be ports.

Warhorse Studios’ Creative Director Daniel Vávra has shared the first information about the Xbox One version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. He revealed that within the first 3 weeks they were able to get the game running on the Xbox One at 17 frames per second. He tweeted an image from the Xbox One version which can be seen below:

He also clarified that it will turn out even better once they start optimizing it. “Its gonna be much faster after we get rid of our own mess. This is a very good start,” he tweeted. Since the game does not have a definite release date, it will obviously get better. Here’s hoping for a locked 30 frames per second experience. He also stated that it’s kind of miracle given his past experience work with consoles. “We just started. Judging from my past experience of console ports, its a miracle :),” he said.

For clarification purpose, he also stated that he is not a platform warrior. “I am not a platform warrior at all. Currently playing Far Cry 4 on TV from my high end PC with Xbox controller,” he tweeted.

We have an upcoming interview with Warhorse Studios where we will hopefully learn more about the console versions.
