Kingdom Hearts 3 Reportedly Has A 40 GB Install Size On PS4

A couple of weeks ago, we reported that the Microsoft Store listing for Kingdom Hearts 3 mentions a file size of 35.8 GB for Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Xbox One- a blessedly average file size, especially in today’s day and age, for what is surely going to be a pretty big RPG. That said, what about those who purchase the game’s physical copies from retail rather than choosing to buy it digitally?

Images posted on Twitter of the physical box of Kingdom Hearts 3 on the PS4 suggest that the game will require an install size of 40 GB on your PS4, which isn’t that much more than the file size. I also imagine some of that has to be because of the PS4 Pro enhancements the game will come with as well (and, naturally, the same goes for the Xbox One X also). There’s not long left before we finally get our hands on Kingdom Hearts 3 now. It’s out in Japan for the PS4 and the Xbox One on January 25, and will be releasing in the rest of the world merely days later, on January 29. You should also be on the lookout for spoilers- the game recently got leaked, and there’s some pretty spoiler-y stuff doing the rounds online.
