Kirby and the Forgotten Land has topped Famitsu’s weekly charts for software sales in Japan. This is the 3D platformers third straight week in the pole position, having been on top since its launch. With nearly 60,000 units sold last week, its lifetime sales in Japan stand at over 550,000 units.

The vast majority of the top 10 is dominated by Nintendo Switch titles once again, though the PS4 version of Elden Ring is still in the top 10, coming in at No. 6. The likes of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Mario Party Superstars, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild figure high in the charts as well.

On the hardware front, it’s a relatively slow week. The Nintendo Switch collectively sold over 61,000 units, slightly less than what it managed the preceding week, while the PS5 sees a much steeper drop, having sold over 11,000 units over the course of last week.
