The NBA 2K series is one of the most consistently compelling, and fresh, series of sports games, year in and year out. It’s fun, it sees enough changes from year to year, and it maintains a high degree of authenticity for the actual sport as well.
That authenticity will be further emphasized this year, because 2K has confirmed that Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett will both be starring as guest commentators in this year’s upcoming NBA 2K18. For a lot of fans, hearing their voices commentate over some of the games they play in the game will probably be a pretty sweet surprise.

NBA 2K18 is due to launch on September 19, and it will be available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The Switch version will be available only digitally at launch, however, with the cartridge release following later in the year.
