Kojima Productions logo

When Hideo Kojima broke away from Konami and founded his new, independent Kojima Productions, the new logo enthralled people. It was typically Kojima, mysterious, nuanced, and tantalizing- and since Kojima’s logo was directly related to the games he worked on then, this new logo had fans scrutinizing it, trying to dissect it and figure out how it may relate to Kojima’s upcoming game at all.

Well, now Kojima has taken to Twitter, and he has decided to dispel some of the mystery himself. In a bunch of new tweets, he revealed that the ‘mascot’ in the new logo is named Ludence, which is… well, that’s an interesting thing to lead with, that’s for sure. He also asked fans what they think he is wearing, which I find to be a rather pointless question- he is obviously wearing an elaborate mechanically fitted helmet, after all, what else would it be?

How the logo related to Kojima’s new game, or if it even relates to it at all, remains to be seen. Kojima has not yet announced his new game, but the hope is that he will soon.
