The independent games-focused exhibition Indie Games Connect 2022, which intends to focus on connecting indie developers and their audiences with each other, is scheduled to take place on June 26, it’s been announced (via Gematsu).

What is interesting to note is the exhibition is being hosted and taken care of by Konami. Konami is to hold the exhibition at their Konami Creative Center in Tokyo. As per the company, the exhibition will offer a space for creators to connect with each other and the general playerbase, and to promote that spirit, the exhibition will be free for everyone to attend. Konami has also made a website for interested creators to register themselves.

The exhibition will feature game development consultation for exhibitors, games exhibitions, and a game developers seminar, which is being hosted by Sony’s indies initiative head, Shuhei Yoshida.

Apart from that, the show’s lineup of games will be revealed sometime in early May, and more details regarding general admission will be announced in mid-May.
