Apparently they found a game breaking bug.

So remember how Bloodborne was going to have three isolated alpha tests over the weekend that just went by? Well, it looks like the latest (and last) one in that series was delayed, because they found a game breaking bug or something. Yeah, guys. That’s what you get for not inviting me.

In all seriousness, that is actually the point of an alpha or beta test- to discover any bug or glitch that might otherwise go unnoticed, and then to iron it out. So in that sense, the alpha is actually doing its job and doing it well.

“The third day of the alpha test that was scheduled for tomorrow, October 5, should be considered delayed due to a bug we found,” From’s statement (translated by DualShockers) said. “We apologize to everyone who has made plans to participate and who was looking forward to it, but please understand. We will let you know at a later time when the test will happen. Thank you very much in advance.”

We don’t know the new date for the alpha, but when we find out, we will let you know.
