Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment have announced that a sequel to 2011’s LEGO Battles: Ninjago titled LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids will be releasing for the 3DS and the PS Vita this summer.

In LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids, players will be tasked with fighting the Nindroid army of the Overlord- a true Spinjitsu Master- and protect New Ninjago City from them. The single player story mode of the game will include 30 levels and characters such as Nya, Sensei Garmadon, Samurai X, and PIXAL.

“It’s been over two years since we introduced our first LEGO Ninjago game, and we are excited to bring the series back for our fans with LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “Young gamers will have loads of fun playing as their favorite Ninja, and we’re introducing new characters and new villains – it’s the ultimate Ninja action game for kids!”

No specific release date for LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids has been announced yet, but as we said above, it’s due out this summer. Stay tuned for more info.
