Lego The Hobbit Delayed For Wii U in UK By One Week

I'm sure all five UK Wii U owners are terribly disappointed.

Lego: The Hobbit, which is the latest of a never ending line of Lego games being made these days (seriously, by my estimation, roughly 56% of all next gen games have Lego in their title), just released on the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and PC in the UK; however, it seems like the Wii U version of the title has been delayed by a period of one week in the region, with no reason given as to why.

Lego: The Hobbit covers the events of the first two out of the three (unnecessary) Hobbit films; presumably, Traveler Tales and Warner Bros. will release a second Lego The Hobbit game to cover the events of the third film, which releases some time later this year.

If you own a Wii U and live in the UK (so you’re about as real as the Loch Ness Monster), this might be slightly disappointing to you; however, at least the game is delayed only by a week, and not indefinitely (read: cancelled) like most Wii U versions of third party multiplatform titles.
