Sony has announced Limbo for PlayStation Vita via PlayStation Blog. Limbo was originally a Xbox 360 exclusive and then eventually came to the PlayStation 3 and now it will be released for PlayStation Vita in less than a week.

Limbo is an atmospheric and somewhat scary platforming-puzzle game that involves the player in traversing the mysterious world. The game’s unique black and white art-style and music certainly sets the tone for an eerie atmosphere that is nowhere to be found in any other title.

The game will be released for PlayStation Vita on June 4th in North America for $14.99 and June 5th for Europe.

For the past few weeks,  Sony has been doing an excellent job in terms of supporting the PlayStation Vita with critically-acclaimed indie games and now Limbo joins the bandwagon.

Let us know if you’ll be purchasing Limbo for your PlayStation Vita in the comments below.
