Madden NFL 19 was confirmed quite recently, to no one’s surprise, but EA did manage to pull a bunny out of their hat at their E3 press event earlier today when they announced that the upcoming football (or handegg, depending on where you’re from) sim will also be launching on the PC.

This is surprising because the Madden franchise has chosen to ignore the PC platform and its audiences for a number of years consecutively. Madden NFL hasn’t launched in PC for over a decade, so surely it’s great for fans of the sport who play primarily on PC that the upcoming sport sim is finally launching on the platform.

EA also revealed the first official trailer for Madden NFL 19 at their press event- you can watch the trailer below. The publisher also confirmed that Terrell Owens will be among a few new NFL legends who will be included in the game’s roster of players. Madden NFL 19 launches on August 10 for PC (of course), PS4, and Xbox One.
