2K’s upcoming Mafia 3, the new entry in their open world, serious and grounded crime saga, has gotten 12 new minutes of brand new gameplay footage, with a voiceover narration from the developers walking us through all that is new and cool in the title as well. Creative director Haden Blackman walks us through the new game’s setting, characters, combat, mission, and more.
Mafia 3 looks stunning, at the very least, though it has to do more than just that if it wants to return to the heights of the first game in the franchise (the second game is largely considered disappointing by many). Hopefully, Mafia 3 can sidestep all of the numerous issues that plagued Mafia 2, and realize the potential of greatness that the first game hinted at.
