Man Offering $50 To Play Destiny For Him

Okay, someone needs to walk me through the exact thinking that motivates a mindset like this before I pop a vein or something.

You see, a man has taken to Craigslist, and is offering $50 to anyone who would play Destiny for him. Not the entire game either, he just wants someone to go through the Crucible and get him the Exotic weapons he wants so badly, and he wants it done now, he wants it done this weekend.

Okay, so, newsflash to Bungie- if your game is so much of a grind that people will literally pay others to grind for them, you failed the basics of game design.

Newsflash for this dude- yo, what the heck, if you find the game to be so much of a grind, why are you wasting so much of your time and money on it still? Just move on to a game that actually respects you as a player.

Second newsflash to this dude- no, seriously, what is the point, even if this other dude you are paying gets you your Exotics, you never got them yourself, and you have to live with knowing that.

Destiny represents a lot of the fallacies of modern game ‘design.’ I have maintained that for a while, and this news further reinforces that.
