From now until the end of 2023, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is going to add a total of 48 remastered versions of tracks from older games, arriving across six waves of content drops. The first of these waves is available now, bringing eight new tracks to the kart racer- though we may now also have an idea of what tracks to expect from future waves of the Booster Course Pack.

As pointed out by @Mr.Nantendo on Twitter, dataminers have been able to dig into the files in the recent Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update, which includes an updated banner showing various images of previously unannounced courses, suggesting they will be added in future DLC updates.

These tracks include the likes of Sydney Sprint (Mario Kart Tour), LA Laps (Tour), Mario Circuit (SNES), Koopa Cape (Wii), Rainbow Road (3DS), Vanilla Lake (SNES), New York Minute (Tour), Sunset Wilds (GBA), Maple Treeway (Wii), Merry Mountain (Tour), and Vancouver Velocity (Tour). Seemingly, evidence has also been found for other tracks, including Waluigi Stadium (GCN), Shy Guy Bazaar (3DS), and DK Summit (Wii).

Meanwhile, Twitter user @fishguy6564 has also managed to dig into the game’s most recent update and dig out information on the games that most future upcoming tracks will be originating from. As seems to be the trend based on the first wave of tracks and the aforementioned datamining, a large number of them seem to be coming from Mario Kart Tour.

Recently, the names of all upcoming DLC cups for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe were also revealed in the update. Read more on that through here.

Of course, until such time Nintendo officially confirms details of what tracks will be coming in as part of the remaining five DLC waves, take all of this with a grain of salt. We’ll keep an eye out for new details though, so stay tuned for more updates.
