A Reddit user has apparently got hold of German magazine GamePro which has awarded the upcoming Wii U exclusive Mario Kart 8 a brilliant 90%. The user listed some key points from the review such as the high frame rate and the fact that coins are used to buy new Kart parts. Furthermore, the review also confirmed that the game will have 30 characters.
The review does not include the verdict for online play since the servers were not available during the magazine’s playtime. The user also revealed that the reviewer got around 3-4 blue shells in one race which indicates they are pretty easy and common to find.
Mario Kart 8 is developed by Nintendo EAD Group No. 1 exclusively for the Wii U. The game will be released later this month. We will have the full review of the game then.
