Nintendo will be launching Mario Sports Superstars, the newest entry in the Mario Sports series, on the Nintendo 3DS. The 3DS game will feature full fledged renditions of soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, and horse racing- no sport will be pared back, meaning that theoretically, this game should include five pretty deep sport game renditions, meaning it should also make up for the disappointing Mario Tennis and Mario Golf entries we have been getting over the last few years.

The game will feature support for online play (thankfully- online support is still never a given with Nintendo games, and especially Nintendo games on the 3DS) for all five sports. More details are yet to come, such as whether or not it will support the Communities feature that previous Mario sports games have on 3DS.

Mario Sports Superstars is due out exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS in Spring 2017. Stay tuned for more coverage and footage.
