Including a full fledged story expansion coming in 2018.

mario+rabbids season pass

Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle may star the face of Nintendo as its leading man, but it is actually, ultimately, a Ubisoft game- something proven conclusively today when Ubisoft went ahead and announced a Season Pass for the title ahead of its upcoming launch (although to be completely honest, Nintendo itself has started to get more trigger happy with its DLC policies too of late).

The Season Pass will include three pieces of DLC- 8 unique steampunk weapons will be available at the launch of the game, each one with its own statistics, and all of them unique for holders of the Season Pass; additional co-op maps that are released for the game this Fall; and a full fledged story expansion, coming in 2018.

Given how fun and great Mario+Rabbids looks, I am sure that no one is going to complain about getting the chance to play more of it if it turns out to be as fun as it is shaping up to be. The game launches exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on August 29.
