Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet is out now for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS, and Marvel has some surprises for those who buy the game early. For only a limited time only, Marvel will be giving out free DLC to the gamers and extra characters that will give you unique achievements and trophies.

The downloadable pack, titles Captain America Collection, will give you three more playable characters- Captain America, Bucky and Red Skull. For the DS and the Wii versions, a comic book will be included.

Martin Good, Executive Vice President, Kids, Family, Casual Games, and Global Online Services said on Super Hero Squad: “”This latest entry into our series of Marvel Super Hero Squad video games ramps up the action, adventure and puzzle solving gameplay on every level as it captures the fun of the popular animated series. The addition of free downloadable content and the comic book right at launch provides even greater value to fans, and adds significantly to the game’s overall experience.”
The game is available for $39.99 for the XBox 360, PS3 and Wii and $29.99 for the DS.
Here’s some info on the game:

“In Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet, players use the “Squaddies'” super powers and super smarts to battle Thanos and a cast of villains, including Doctor Doom, Nebula, and Loki, as they search for the lost Infinity Stones. Along the way they travel through deep space, solve tricky puzzles, acquire new powers, and gain new allies in their mission to defeat the intergalactic threat. In addition to the game’s exciting campaign mode, players can experience exciting challenge modes, compete in multiplayer “beat-em ups” and more!

“Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet continues the excitement of the original Marvel Super Hero Squad with an all-new storyline that follows Season 2 of the Cartoon Network hit animated TV series. Players can “Hero Up” with friends in cooperative play and master the unique Factor Power of each of the Marvel heroes in three game modes: Story Mode, Freeplay Mode and Challenge Mode. The game also boasts a brand new puzzle component, in which players utilize the characters’ unique abilities to move or destroy objects; traverse through certain environments; and summon their unique strengths to overcome obstacles. With new adventures, tricky puzzles, an expanded selection of Marvel Super Hero Squad members to unlock and play, Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet is set to thrill gamers from here to Super Hero City.”
