According to NPD and Chart-Track data released by Nintendo, Mass Effect 3 is the highest selling game this year (so far) in the US and UK.
In the US, Mass Effect 3 has taken the pole position, followed by (in order) Just Dance 3 for Wii, Modern Warfare 3 for 360, NBA 2K12 for 360 and Modern Warfare 3 for PS3.
In the UK, FIFA 12 comes in after Mass Effect 3 ahead of Just Dance 3 for Wii, FIFA Street and Battlefield 3, both for the Xbox 360.
In Japan, One Piece Pirate Warriors for the PS3 was the top selling game for the first four months, followed by Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Monster Hunter 3 and Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen Z saisei-Hen.
