Mass Effect Andromeda is still largely an unknown – it was announced at E3 last year, and we haven’t seen or heard of it much, though we have had a couple of teasers – but we do expect to learn more about it at E3 this year. We’ve had a bunch of leaks and rumors about it, but nothing official. That said, the good folks at Bioware do drop us a bone sometimes, by teasing things about the game cryptically.
For instance, take Ian S. Frazier, the lead designer of Mass Effect Andromeda at Bioware- he’s posted a bunch of tweets, discussing how some of the development on the game has been going. He discussed designing a brand new enemy type, some new kinds of character progression systems, as well new boss battles.
While none of this is necessarily new information, Mass Effect fans will doubtless be glad at new development updates on a game that they really don’t know much about, otherwise- plus, new enemy types are always appreciated. Mass Effect Andromeda is due out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC by March 2017.
Highlight of my week was seeing a gameplay designer murdered by his own creation, shortly after he gave me crap for dying to it.

This week was very hard. But it ended well, with sweet new character progression to see and a very, very large new foe to fight. 🙂

Another creature passed its review today. Congrats to @bendotc & the crew for bringing you more fun, one AI at a time. 🙂 #MassEffect
