Mass Effect Andromeda Is Bioware’s “Most Ambitious” Title Yet

"In scope, Mass Effect: Andromeda is our most ambitious Mass Effect title to date."

Mass Effect Andromeda

It will have been five years in the making by the time it is out, but Mass Effect Andromeda will finally be releasing next year- and when it does, it will be, according to Bioware themselves, their most ambitious game yet. From everything that we know of Andromeda so far, that doesn’t seem to be a particularly bold or outlandish claim.

We know that Bioware are planning on letting the player explore entire planets, and develop the sort of open world direction that the original Mass Effect game hinted at back in 2007.  It sounds like Bioware intends to give players an open world experience focused on delivering a tight narrative- which would far outstrip their ambition for any of their previous individual Mass Effect games so far.

The combination of open world RPG systems with Bioware’s traditional strengths in storytelling, should definitely make Andromeda Bioware’s best game yet. Mass Effect Andromeda is slated to launch on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC some time next year.
