Mass Effect Andromeda May Be Playable On Xbox First Via EA Access- Rumor

Xbox owners may get the chance to go hands on with Bioware's new epic before everyone else.

It looks like Xbox owners may get the chance to go hands on with Bioware’s upcoming, long awaited Mass Effect Andromeda before everyone else- according to a report on ThisGenGaming, a UK store is promoting Mass Effect Andromeda as being playable on Xbox One first via EA Access.

This would mean that Xbox One owners get to go hands on with the long awaited and anticipated game before everyone else, by at least a week or so. It would be sort of fitting, given that the series used to formerly be Xbox exclusive.

This is also fairly big news, because after Titanfall 2 skipped EA Access, it was unclear whether or not every EA game would be fair game for the service anymore- it really looks like Titanfall 2 was a unique case that ultimately came down to Respawn holding IP rights for Titanfall, and calling the shots there. Mass Effect Andromeda will be releasing on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in Spring 2017.
