Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

It seems that the big surprise from today’s stream of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has leaked out. Metal Gear Soild 5 Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain are both coming to the PC via Steam. The release date is however yet to be disclosed.

The surprise was leaked when someone from Konami accidentally published a post on the company’s official website. The title “METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN AND GROUND ZEROES COMING TO STEAM” is still present on the home page but the actual link diverts to a 404 post not found.

Today’s event will also see a message from Kiefer Sutherland; the new voice of Snake. He will announce an exclusive Gamescom pre order offer. People who attended the event will receive vouchers offering a 5 EURO discount. This discount is only valid for the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is now due for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2015. The live stream will begin shortly and we shall have more details soon. So stay tuned for more updates and in the mean time check out our hub page here.

Thanks, Neogaf.
