Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

With Metal Gear Solid 5 being as big as it is, that’s to say positively monolithic, it’s no surprise that fans are willing to crawl through eye wateringly large amounts of information to find even the slightest bit of unannounced content. Potential spoilers ahead.

With that being said, Reddit User was “messing around” with the PC version code of Ground Zeroes and came across a several lines that hints towards possible plot hints. Two particular lines that are of interest reads, “Quiet…ACT_Massacre……..” and “Quiet_hospital”. The first line is referencing the controversial lady sniper whom has been shown to have gone through some pretty heavy stuff in her time, and the second may be referring to this gameplay video here (Jump at 5:42). Could it be a possibility that Quiet is part of the enforcement that attacks the hospital?

Or the act (mission, stage, scene etc) entitled “Massacre” may point towards some previously unknown plot points. There’s so much that could possibly unfold in The Phantom Pain, that anything discovered in Ground Zeroes’ files is likely to be of little consequence. But as with all things that spill out of Hideo Kojima’s insane, yet brilliant mind, we can only guess at what he has planned.
