Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain

The closer we get to the release of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain the more specifics we get about not only the game, but also everything you are going to get with the game if you go with the Limited Edition. We’ve already gotten some of the information about what you can expect to see inside the package for the special edition PS4, as well as the Limited Edition version of the game. A new video shows what is actually in the artwork Steelbook that comes with the game.

MetalGearInformer has taken the deep dive into the video and pulled out the stuff that stood out from the rest. Among the information the video and the screenshots pulled from the video show, is more information about Quiet.”A scout and sniper whose special abilities allow her to stalk her prey without being seen or heard. The info goes on, saying that she is true to her name in that she never speaks, nor even communicates through writing. Despite this, she forms a bond with Snake.

We also get a little information about the Soviet weapon known as ST-84. Although the information ends up being nothing more than the fact that it stands 15 meters tall and no one knows what level of completion its in. We do get a look at it thanks to pictures from the artbook. There’s even some information about the actual hospital ward where Snake was stashed by Ocelot when he fell into a coma. Once his enemies found where Snake was located, the ward came under assault by a number of groups, including a “man on fire” who plunged the ward into chaos.

You’ll be able to read up on these bits of info if you purchase the special edition of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain on September 1.
