Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

There has been some activity recently on the Metal Gear Solid Online’s official twitter feed recently with the social media channel being used to dole out information to inquisitive gamers. One Twitter user asked if players will have access to music tracks in Metal Gear Online, similar to how they do in previous iterations of the game.

The response from the Metal Gear Online team was, “good chance you’ll have some options but can’t confirm anything just yet”. This sounds as though even the social media team don’t know the answer for sure. In answering another question, it’s confirmed that the game won’t have a tagging mechanic, this means there will be no personalised emblems that players can display by spraying them onto a surface. When asked if this was a feature, the response was, “that’s not currently planned, no.”

The account also teased some impending information that’s apparently set to drop. One user asked, “Will we hear new mgo info before May?” to which the response was, “new info before May? Certainly.” Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is due for the PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC sometime this year.
