When Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain was released, there was quite a bit of talk about the number of different endings that came along with the game. This is an incredibly immersive game that is also built on quite the open world. That means that people can play the game a certain way and never actually see some of the cutscenes that really make this game great. Luckily for you, there’s this neat little invention called the Internet, which has allowed people to get a look at a number of scenes they didn’t get to stumble across in the actual game.

One case in point is a new video making the rounds showing off what is being called the fourth ending of the game. We have covered this ending in the past. This is apparently unlocked by doing something in the game’s FOB modes. However this time around, the ending also features Quiet and the new Metal Gear Sahelanthropus as they talk about the fact that the world has gone through a stage of nuclear disarmament. The clip that has surfaced on the web is nearly nine minutes long and does indeed go through a number of clips showing how the team deals with the fact that it appears their war may really be over.

There are couple of interesting points to be noted here regarding Metal Gear Sahelanthropus. The presence of Sahelanthropus indicates that this scene can be triggered even if you haven’t completed the main missions. That is because Liquid eventually steals the new Metal Gear during the latter half of Chapter 2. This is rather fascinating since it may encourage players to play the game in a different manner and may be, just may be it may lead to new things.
