Metal Gear Survive hasn’t had the best reception by fans or critics since it launched, but there were additional problems the game faced upon release, too. The game was suffering from multiple server issues at launch, which was an issue, since the game requires an online connection just to be played- even for the single player mode.
To apologize for all of the server errors that players trying to play the game might have faced, Konami has given away free stuff to all players of the game to make it up to them somewhat. ““We know there’s been some bumps during launch and we’re working hard to sort out the final issues,” Konami said on Twitter. The consolation prize for the problems players faced is 100 SV coins and 1 Premium boost. These will be available to anyone who made an avatar in the game before February 27, and will be available simply upon logging in.
Metal Gear Survive is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Secondly, following the scheduled server maintenance, we've fixed several issues and made some balancing changes. Please note any equipped ammo was moved to the storehouse. Check out the patch notes for more details. (2/3) pic.twitter.com/pNCvIGXqIL
